Kay has spent 20 years as a professional stylist — dressing celebrities, working with luxury brands, and helping business leaders use their image as a strategic advantage. Her work helps clients look credible, feel confident, and secure more business opportunities.
Kay believes — and I now agree — that style is a form of communication. In our conversation, we explore how what we wear affects how credible we appear, how confident we feel, and how effectively our ideas land. We talk about simplifying wardrobe choices to reduce decision fatigue, and why smart casual requires more intentionality than it first appears.
We also touch on gender differences in style complexity, how to be yourself and be stylish, and what role fabric choice plays in comfort and sustainability. I found it incredibly insightful — and just a little bit confronting — in all the right ways.
